Chemistry

To determine a pet’s general health status, chemistry profile is a group of tests that can be performed as needed.

Examples of available chemistry profile test offered by Innova Vet lab are:

Comprehensive Diagnostic Profile panel (Analytes- ALB, ALP, ALT, AMY, BUN, Ca, CRE, GLOB, GLU, K+, Na+, PHOS, TBIL, TP)
Preventive Profile Plus panel (Analytes- ALB, ALP, ALT, AST, BUN, Ca, Cl-, CRE, GLOB, GLU, K+, TBIL, tCO2, TP)
Large Animal Profile panel (Analytes- ALB, ALP, AST, BUN, Ca, CHOL, GGT, GLOB, Mg, PHOS, TP)

Urinalysis

To determine disease conditions or disorders affecting the urinary tracts or kidneys, veterinarians can use urinalysis test to screen animals.

To perform this test and avoid variation in results, we use
an automated instrument that ensures the result is the same at all times and with no errors.

Urinalysis test commonly performed at Innova lab check for the following:

WBC (white blood cell), GLU (glucose), BLD (blood), VC (Vitamin C), KET (ketones), PRO (protein), BIL (bilirubin), SG (specific gravity), URO (urobilinogen), Ca (calcium), pH (power of hydrogen), MA (microalbumin), CR (creatinine), PCR (polymerase chain reaction)

Rapid Tests

An early and accurate diagnosis of pet conditions can help in preventing diseases and give your pet the best life possible.

Cytology

Cytology is a less invasive way used by veterinarians to quickly and effectively evaluate single cell types. It may be used to diagnose or screen for cancer in pets. It can be used to screen for fetal abnormalities, pregnancy detection, diagnosis of infectious organisms, and in further testing or screening.

Hematology
